Marco Palomino is an international choreographer, dancer, and director. Born in Cuba and now based in Los Angeles, CA, he earned his BFA from La Universidad de las Artes (ISA) in Havana. Marco has created works for dance companies, museums, films, immersive experiences, brands, and live theater.
Marco began his dance journey at the age of 8, with choreography capturing his attention early on. His most recent works include pieces for USC Glorya Kaufman International Dance Center, Kit Modus, Acostadanza JR, and Visceral Dance. His latest piece, Lost Together, an original creation for Visceral Dance, premiered at MCA Chicago.

Marco’s choreographic style draws from modern and contemporary dance, ballet, floor work, Cuban styles, and African folklore. He incorporates creative tools such as imaginary characters, mask work, and expressive facial movements, driven by his deep interest in exploring the essence that generates movement. This unique blend has allowed Marco to develop his own movement vocabulary, setting his work apart.
He has had the honor of working with renowned figures and companies in the dance field, including Jacob Jonas The Company, Ballet Revolución, Rosario Cárdenas, and Carlos Acosta’s Acostadanza, while also partnering with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Additionally, he has collaborated with distinguished choreographers such as Juliano Nuñes, Jacob Jonas, Pontus Lidberg, Micaela Taylor, Javier de Frutos, Jorge Cresis, Osnel Delgado, Mike Tyus, Aaron Cash, Alexis Fernández (Maca), Goyo Montero, Rosanna Gamson, and Carlos Acosta.
As a director and choreographer, Marco has expanded into dance film, creating original works including Nice to Meet Me, You Never Know, LaCueva, Muérdeme or Lose Me, and Raw Emotions.
Beyond choreography, Marco has built a thriving social media community, with his dance pieces reaching millions of viewers worldwide. He is also the founder of Artists Key, an agency specializing in personal branding, providing artists with the essential tools to establish their professional brands and online presence.
Marco is passionate about teaching workshops rooted in his movement philosophy, offering tools and insights to help individuals overcome unhealthy connections, creative blocks, and self-imposed limitations. At the heart of his mission is guiding people back to their true selves through dance. He strongly believes in spiritual connection, advocating that tapping into one’s own essence leads to the most powerful creations and the truest forms of self-expression.
